Arthur J. Ryman, 76, of Bay City passed away Feb. 9, 2007. He was born Oct. 31, 1930 in Wadsworth, Texas to Arthur David & Mary Unice Anderson Ryman. He served in the US Navy after WWII & the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his wife Ardine Knapp Ryman of Bay City; sons Willie Strelec & wife Marsha of Bay City & Lee Strelec & wife Landle of Van Vleck; sisters Ruth Spickler of Flint, MI & LaVerne Lamb of Houston; seven grandchildren: Charlotte McKissick, Kristy Bundick, Willie Strelec, Jr., James Dale Strelec, Redonna Huron, Crystal Strelec & Leigh Wiley; twenty great grandchildren: Jessica, Bridget, Brooke, Brittany & Gary "Bubba" Kersh, Vance, Ashley, Tyler, Nick, & Kayla Strelec, Brandon, Bryce & Bradley McKissick, Austin Wells, Kolton & Alana Huron, Hailey Hurta, Alleah, Jaidah & Devin Wiley; niece Ruth Evens, great niece Michelle LaRose and great nephew Brian Evens.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Don Storey officiating. Interment with military honors by VFW Post 2438 will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers include James Strelec, Willie Strelec, Jr., Thomas Bundick, Jerry, Brandon & Bradley McKissick. The family will greet friends & relatives from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at Taylor Bros.
