Arthur Galvez Miranda, Jr., 56, of Bay City, passed away August 8, 2023. He was born December 23, 1966, in Palacios, TX to the late Arthur Garcia Miranda, Sr. and Dalia Galvez Rodriguez.

Being born and raised in Palacios, he worked hard all his life, loving his work as a fisherman. Arthur would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. He loved his family and friends with all his heart.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; brothers William G. Miranda and Orlando G. Miranda, and grandparents Antonio and Amelia Galvez.

He is survived by his wife Teresa De La Cruz Miranda; daughters Alana M. Miranda and Naylie Miranda; sisters Debora G. Miranda; brother Carlos G. Miranda and wife Lucy; grandson Elijah Miranda; nieces and nephews Joseph & Dalia Canales, Joshua Miranda, Breanna Alameda, Joseph Valdez, Jordan B. Rodriguez, Dynisty Morales, Johnathan and Carla Miranda, along with more family and friends.

A rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Memorial Mass will be at 10:00 AM with Rev. Gabriel Espinosa officiating.
