Arthur G. Miranda, 86, of Palacios passed away February 4, 2017. He was born June 19, 1930 in Matagorda, Texas to the late Manuel Miranda and Salami Garcia Miranda.

He was preceded in death by two sons William G. Miranda and Orlando G. Miranda. Survivors include his children's mother Dalia Miranda; daughter Debora G. Clawson & husband Jack of Van Vleck; sons Arthur G. Miranda, Jr. & wife Teresa of Bay City and Carlos Miranda & wife Lucy of Van Vleck; grandchildren Joshua Miranda, Dalia Morales, Joseph Canales and Alana Miranda and great grandchildren Breanna Alameda, Joseph Valdez, Jordan Rodriguez, Dynisty Morales, Carla Miranda, Jonathan Robles and Nayeli Miranda.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Palacios Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM with Rev. Tony Flores officiating. Interment will follow at Palacios Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joshua Miranda, Joseph C. Canales, Dalia Morales, Alana Miranda, Joseph Valdez, Jeremy Young and Jordan Rodriguez.
