Armando "Mando" Jacques Jr, 51, of Bay City, returned to the arms of God on October 17, 2017, surrounded by his family. Mr. Jacques was born August 24, 1966, in Mercedes, Texas, to Armando Jacques Sr. and Manuela Jacques.
He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by Margarita
Jacques, his wife of 34 years; his mother, Manuela Jacques; daughter
Amanda Jacques Gordon and spouse Jacob; son Armando Jacques III and
spouse Megan; son Adrian Jacques and spouse Alyssa; son Alejandro
Jacques and spouse Iris; sisters Rachel Fields and Sylvia Munoz; brother Johnny Jacques and spouse Norma; and brother Larry Jacques. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
A respected regional manager of twenty years for McAda Drilling Fluids, Inc., Mando Jacques was a devoted and loving husband, father, and Popo. He was devoted to his community and an avid golfer, spending most of his days at Rio Colorado Golf Course. He loved his dog, Bandit, dearly and would want him listed as a survivor in life as well. His marriage to his wife, Margarita, was a storied romance of unending devotion beginning at their young age at sixteen. He was completely dedicated to his family, and one of his favorite activities was simply sitting outdoors to watch his grandchildren play.
The family will receive friends and relatives 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday October 22, at the funeral home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 23, 2017 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers are A. J. Jacques, Adrian Jacques, Jacob Gordon, Alex Jacques, Johnny Jacques and Albert Maseda.
