Antonia G. Flores, 91, of Palacios, Texas died peacefully on January 21, 2019.  Antonia was born on September 6, 1927 in Los Indios, Texas to Jose and Catarina Guerra.

Her family and her faith in God were Antonia's passion and delight. She was Presbyterian, and taught and raised as a child, that God and family was all that one needed to be happy.

She married the love of her life, Roland Flores on May 16, 1948. In that marriage of 50 years they were blessed with 4 children, Roland, Mary, David and Tricia.  Antonia had 2 grandchildren that she adored, Rob Flores and wife Brooke, and Natalia Flores. She enjoyed reading the bible and was an avid reader of inspirational books. She loved to sew and loved making quilts for her family. She enjoyed baking cookies, pies, and cakes for her husband and children. She loved going to the Senior Citizen Center to be with friends and to pay bingo and engage in word finds.

Antonia leaves behind her 4 sisters, Bertha Martino, Lydia Longoria, Olga Latapie and Oralia Mijares.  Antonia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Roland Flores, and siblings Elfida Frangullie, Roy Guerra, and Joe Guerra. Antonia will be deeply missed by all who loved her so much. Heaven now has a sweet angel to love.

The family will receive friends and relatives 4:00-8:00 PM Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Palacios Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM. Services are 2:00 PM Friday, January 25, 2019 at First Presbyterian Church-Palacios with Rev. Chuck Kimball officiating. Interment will follow at Palacios Cemetery. Pallbearers are Anthony Martino, Steve Frangullie, Lupe Longoria, Tony Garcia, Joe Mijares and Mark Latapie.
