Anton Joe Kacer, Sr., 71, of El Maton passed away July 25, 2012. He was born June 8, 1941 in Caldwell, TX to the late Frank Kacer and Rosie Sobotik Kacer.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Annette Kacer, two grandchildren Mark Garcia & Koby Kacer and two brothers Edwin Kacer & Frank "Frankie" Joe Kacer. Survivors include children Donna Garcia & husband Steve, David Kacer & wife Veronica, Rhonda Mangel & husband Michael, Tony Kacer & wife Scarlett, Diane Wallace and Patrick Kacer & wife Christy; grandchildren Jessica Garcia, Steven Garcia, Philip Garcia, Adam Garcia, Ashlan Kacer, Alicia Kacer, Marina Kacer, David Joe Kacer II, Michael A. Mangel, Andrew Mangel, Daniel Mangel, Justin Kitterman, Joshua Kitterman, Joey Kacer, Madison Kacer, Paige Wallace, Brooke Wallace, William Wallace, Megan Kacer, Kera Honeycutt, Sierra Velazquez, and Bianca Burnett; sisters Georgie & Jimmy Meyer, Margie & Joe Ames, Rosie & Herbert Wendel and Annie & Richard Bundick; brothers Bernard Kacer, Larry Kacer, Edmund & Ima Kacer, Milton Ray & Sybil Kacer and Joe & Regina Kacer.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be 2:00 PM Saturday, July 28, 2012 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Blessing with Rev. Peter Yeboah-Amanfo officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Blessing. Pallbearers will be Gary Saha, Jason Chambless, Clayton Hahn, Shawn Kacer, Brian Berger and Tony Berger. His grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
