Obituary
Annie Shafer Titt, 88, of Victoria, formerly of Bay City and Van Vleck, died Saturday, March 15, 2008.
She was born February 28, 1920, in El Campo, Tex., to the late James Edward Shafer and Robbie Ann Frasier Shafer. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert L. Titt; sons, Robert F. Titt and James W. Tate; sisters, Lula Callaway, Clara Benedict, Emma LaRue and Bertha Klingaman; brothers, James W. Shafer, Leslie L. Shafer and Robert E. Shafer.
She is survived by son, Kenneth W. Titt and wife, Peggy, of Victoria; sister, Laverne Stevens of Bay City; and sister-in-law, Della Mae Shafer, also of Bay City; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p. m. Tuesday, March 18th at the Bay City Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 19th at the funeral home chapel, the Rev. Don Meador officiating.
Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, Van Vleck. Bay City Funeral Home, Bay City, 979-245-4893.
Pallbearers will be, Chris Titt, Rick Baird, Cameron Brooks, Richard Franklin, John Stevens and Val Walleck.
