Annie Wise "Weedie" Mizell, 78, of Bay City passed away March 3, 2008. She was born March 27, 1929 in Vinton, LA to the late Joseph Milton DeVille, Sr. & Mary Mildred Clark DeVille. She had been a resident of Bay City since 1996. She retired from the US Postal Service and had been a teacher.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Mizell in 2005. She is survived by daughter & son-in-law Mildred & Dr. Marvin Moore of Bay City; granddaughter Dr. Kandace Moore & Great Granddaughter Karissa Moore both of Bay City nephews Rebel Wayne DeVille & David Keith DeVille & wife Nancy all of Dayton, TX and great nieces & nephews Karian DeVille, David DeVille, Jr. Haleigh & Bethany DeVille. She also leaves behind her faithful pet & companion "Chipper Moore".

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6PM to 8PM Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, March 7, 2008 at the First Pentecostal Church in Bay City with Dr. Marvin Moore, Rev. Greg Barnes & Rev. David Myer officiating. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Alfred Moya, Melvin Pennington, Charles W. "Billy" O'Mallan, Ron Almy, Paul Bickham, Leo Castillo & Sherman Teeler.
