Anna Marie Yanez, 52, of Bay City passed away Thursday, October 9, 2008 in Houston. She was born January 16, 1956 in Bay City to Eloisa Losoya Yanez and Guadalupe Yanez Sr..

Mrs. Yanez is survived by her husband: Jimmy Montalvo Sr. of Bay City; mother: Eloisa L. Yanez of Bay City; daughter: Cynthia Montalvo of El Campo; 2 sons: Rojelio Montalvo of El Campo and Jimmy Montalvo Jr. of Bay City; 2 sisters: Irene Escobar & husband Wally of Bay City and Paula Sedillo & husband Daniel of Freeport; 4 brothers: Lupe H. Yanez Jr. & wife Delia of Alvin, Mack L. Yanez & wife Margaret of Danbury, Charles Yanez & wife Rachel of Bay City, and Ernest Yanez & wife Donna of Bay City; and 15 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father: Lupe Yanez Sr.; sister: Lucille Y. Rubio; and 2 brothers: Robert M. and Patrick Yanez.

A rosary will be recited 7:30 PM Monday, October 13, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Mass will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Kenneth Glune, Keith Yanez, Mack Yanez Jr., Robert Yanez, Dale Trevino, and Jimmy Montalvo Jr.
