Anita G. Garcia, 95, of Bay City passed away February 3, 2014. She was born October 30, 1918 in Palestine, Texas to Agapito and Amada Arcola Garcia.

Anita is survived by her daughters Janie Medina of Pearland and Amanda Garcia and Robert Zepeda; sons Jose DeLeon, Jr. and Lupe, Jesse Garcia and Baronica , Noe Garcia and Sally. Sister Amada Mercido. Brothers Jesse Garcia, Jason Garcia and Pete Garcia, 17 grand children, 34 great-grand children and 4 great-great grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband Guadalupe Garcia and her parents.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00-8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be Wednesday, February 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Candido Gonzales officiating.
Pallbearers will be Tony Medina, Jon Medina, Robert Zepeda, Rudy Lara, Kevin Schroder and Felipe Valdez.
