Amparo Moreno Flores, 75, died Wednesday, December 27, 2006 in Palacios, TX. She was born January 24, 1931 in Fort Bend County, TX to the late Jose Simon & Alvena Alvarado Moreno. Amparo was a long time resident of Palacios, a Member of: St. Anthony's Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters, and Ladies Auxiliary.

Mrs. Flores is survived by daughter & son-in-law: Ernestine & Raymundo Silvas of Palacios; 2 sons & daughters-in-law: Jimmy Flores, III & wife Magaly of Brazoria and Johnny Flores & wife Ann of Houston; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband: Jimmie Flores, Jr.

A Rosary will be 7:00 PM Thursday, December 28, 2006 at Palacios Funeral Home. Mass will be 11:00 AM Friday, December 29, 2006 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Charles Dwomoh officiating. Interment will follow at Palacios Cemetery. Arrangements under Palacios Funeral Home (361) 972-2012.
