Amado Garcia, 85, of Bay City passed away May 19, 2016. He was born September 13, 1930 in Mexico to the late Timoteo Garcia and Elizabeth Mera Garcia.

He was preceded in death by his wife Maria Garcia and a daughter Guadalupe Estrada. Survivors include daughters Maria Isabel Medina, Socorra Ramona Ramirez, Cecilia Saucedo and Aurora Garcia; sons Francisco Javier Garcia, Jose Manuel Garcia, Pedro Garcia, Sergio Garcia and Armando Augustin Garcia; sister Pilar Garcia Cortez; brother Macario Garcia; 33 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5PM until 7PM Thursday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with a rosary being recited at 6PM. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Friday, May 27, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Msgr. Casey Jarzombek officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jair Saucedo, Alfredo Amado Garcia, Geraldo Rene Garcia, Anthony Yair Garcia, Jonathon Saucedo and Sergio Garcia, Jr.
