Amada Z. Gonzales, 93, of Bay City, passed away May 6, 2019. She was one of 17 siblings born to Gregoria and Marie (Ozuna) Zarate, December 17, 1925 in Buckeye, TX.

Amada will be missed by her many friends and family. She was known for her impressive style, wonderful smile, and helpfulness and loyalty to everyone she met.

Amada is preceded in death by her parents; sons Martin Jr. and Michael Sr.; sister Paula, and brothers Marcelo, Rosendo, Caramel and Tommy. She is survived by son Ronald Machorro Sr. of Bay City; daughters-in law Jan Macharro ( Martin Jr.) of Sacamento, CA and Frances Machorro (Michael Sr.) of Hesperia, CA; grandchildren Nanette Andrade (Jesse) of Moreno Valley, CA, Eric Machorro of Lakewood, CA, Jason Macharro (Bree) of Brentwood, CA, Christopher Macharro (Nicki) of Elk Grove, CA, Christian Macharro (Amber) of Carmichael, CA, Michael Machorro, Jr. (Rosemary) of Hesperia, CA, Phillip Machorro of Hesperia, CA, Maxine Ruiz (Jose) of Bay City and Ronald Machorro, Jr. of Norco, CA; great-grandchildren Jessie, Jacob, Angel, Autumn, Alexia, Melania, Mia, Marissa, Adrian, Jessie-Marie, Adrian, Johnathan, Ronnie and Andrew, and great-great grandchild Emilee-Marie.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5:00-7:00pm Friday, May 10 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. The rosary will be 6:00pm that evening. Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Fr. Greg Korenek officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
