Alpha Lucille Calk,83, passed away June 29, 2015 in Bay City, Texas. She was born on April 15, 1932 to Harvey M. Green and Edna Andalee Ellis Green in Stowell, Texas.

Lucy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wade Thomas Calk, Sr. and brothers Albert Rosenbusch, Carl Rosenbusch, Ernest Ellis, Pete Green, Bubba Green and sister Pat Commilleau. She is survived by sons Tranis & Judy Calk of Van Vleck, Texas, Clayton & Suzanne Calk of Baytown, Texas, Wade & Pam Calk Jr. of Boling, Texas, daughter Nancy & Al DuCote of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, son Bobby & Donna Calk of Van Vleck, Texas. She has numerous nieces and nephews, whom she was very proud of, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. She loved them all dearly.

She was extremely proud to belong to the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Bay City, Texas. She loved her church family.
We wish to thank The Legacy for their care in her last months.
She is at Peace now.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00-8:00pm Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00am Friday, July 3, 2015 at Apostolic Pentecostal Church. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck Texas, Pallbearers: Bobby Messer, Thomas Lee Calk, Brandon Calk, Henry Corenfield, Wade Calk III, and Darrin Calk.
