Obituary
Alma Emma McKissick, 95, of El Maton passed away June 3, 2013. She was born November 2, 1917 in Caldwell, TX to the late Frank Vavra and Johanna Popek Vavra.
Her husband Thomas McKissick and son Gerald McKissick both preceded her in death. Survivors include daughters Jessie Faye Falks and Alma Jo "Susie" Glasscock and husband Craig; son Kenneth McKissick and wife Laura; 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM Thursday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Friday, June 7, 2013 at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Rev. Peter Yeboah-Amanfo officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenny McKissick, Kevin McKissick, Jerry McKissick, Jack Falks, Michael Glasscock and Robert Dannels.
