Obituary

Alma Marie Kubala, 98, of Midfield, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.   Alma was born November 22, 1925 in Fayette County, Texas to the late Henry A Adamcik and Matilda Steffek Adamcik.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Johnny E. Kubala and brothers Allen Adamcik and Alvin Adamcik.

Alma was known for her vibrant gardens and her dedication to her family. She found joy in spending time outdoors, nurturing her plants and yard, and creating a beautiful outdoor space at her home, that she was very proud of. Alma found solace in quiet mornings spent on her patio, with a hot cup of coffee in hand, embraced by the beauty of the countryside.  The melody of chirping birds and whispers of nature were a constant source of comfort to her.

She found great joy spending time with her children, and their families. Alma's passion for bringing loved ones together was evident in every detail of holiday celebrations, especially Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. From meticulously prepared meals to festive decorations, Alma ensured every occasion was filled with warmth, joy, delicious food, and a wonderful time.

In addition to being a proud mother and an avid gardener, Alma was a very devoted Catholic and spent many years volunteering her time at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Blessing.
