Alice Escamilla Stanford, 78, of Bay City passed away August 13, 2024. She was born January 24, 1946 in Bay City to the late Jesse Ramos Vega and Ignacia Escamilla Vega.

Alice's lifelong passion and pride was being a Registered Nurse. She put her heart and soul into her work. Her love of helping patients and taking care of others will be remembered.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Susie Luna and Betty Greer and her brother Jesse Vega, Jr.

Survivors include daughter Nora Dearing and husband Robert; sons Charles Reyna and Robert Aaron Reyna; sisters Hope Cisneros, Catherine Hernandez and Anna Garcia; grandchildren Chad Richard, Cody Richard, Christian Richard, Aaron Jeffrey Reyna and Charles Anthony Reyna and great grandchildren Charlotte Richard, Sophia Richard, Steven Richard and Daniel Richard. She came from a large family and dearly loved her nieces and nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.

A rosary will be recited at 1:30 PM Friday, August 16, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 PM with Rev. Gabriel Espinosa officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her 5 grandsons: Chad Richard, Cody Richard, Aaron Jeffrey Reyna, Christian Richard, Charles Anthony Reyna and her son-in-law Robert Dearing.
