Alice Perez Harvey, 82, of Palacios passed away June 13, 2024.  She was born June 19, 1941 in Rock Port, Texas to the late Placido Perez and Fidela Garcia Perez.

Alice was a member of the Palacios Church of Christ, was an active member of the VFW for many years and served as president for a time, she worked as a teacher's aide, ran the family feed store and later worked at the local post office.  She was known to be friendly, kindhearted and giving.  If you had a need, she was sure to be praying for you.   She drew strength and comfort in knowing the Lord.  Those who loved her will now rely on the same Father to give them strength during this time of healing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ramon Harvey; siblings Jimmy Rodriguez, Ralph Rodriguez, Tony Rodriguez, William Rogriguez, Anatalia Serrata, Minnie Rodriguez Maseda and Alexander Perez.

The Survivors include sons Chris Harvey (Traci), Damon Harvey (Veronica), Robin Harvey and Dean Harvey; grandchildren Ashley Smith Hernandez (Cris), Matthew Smith, Travis Spates, Chelsea Madrigal (Anthony), Ethan Adams, Riley Harvey, Athena Harvey and great grandchildren Holden Hernandez, Aiden Madrigal and Avaleigh Harvey.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, June 21, 2024 at the Palacios Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the Palacios Church of Christ with Mark Engle officiating.  Interment will follow at the Palacios Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Chris Harvey, Damon Harvey, Robin Harvey, Dean Harvey, Darell Buckley, and Darell Blackwell.  Reception following graveside service at the Church of Christ Annex.
