Alfredo Villafuerte, 52, of Bay City passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2007. He was born February 24, 1955 to Eusevio & Maria De La Luz Jacobo Villafuerte in Santa Ana Maya, Michoacan, Mexico. Alfredo has lived in Bay City for the past 31 years, and was a member of our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife: Maria Del Carmon Jungo Villafuerte of Bay City; mother: Maria De La Luz Jacobo Villafuerte of Santa Ana Maya, Mexico; 5 daughters: Lillana Villafuerte, Maria Guadalupe Villafuerte, Magdalena Villafuerte, Maria Del Carmon Villafuerte & husband: Chris Maldonato, and Laura Villafuerte & husband: Larry Jacquez all of Bay City; 4 sons: Alfredo Villafuerte & wife Angelica of Corpus Christi; Jesus Villafuerte & wife: Alejandra Rodriguez; Eusevio Villafuerte, and Thomas Villafuerte all of Bay City; 4 sisters; 7 brothers; and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father: Eusevio Villafuerte.

A Rosary will be recited 7:30 PM Sunday, August 26, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be held 10:00 AM Monday, August, 27, 2007 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Santa Ana Maya, Michoacan, Mexico at the Cemeterio Municipal de Santa Ana Maya. Arrangements are with Taylor Bros. Funeral Home (979) 245-4613.
