Albina "Bennie" Gauthier passed away June 6, 2011 at the age of 88. She was born April 16, 1923 in El Campo, TX and was one of 10 children born to Ignac Senkyrik & Josephine Gahura Senkyrik.

She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin "Frenchy" Gauthier, son Michael Gauther, granddaughter Bethany Gauthier and grandson Kenneth Quinby. She is survived by daughters Jeanine Crow & husband Raymond of Selkirk Island, Renee Smith of San Marcos and Michelle Gauthier of Bayou Vista, TX; sons Marvin "Tony" Gauthier & wife Judy of Sugarland and Alan Gauthier of Houston; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews. She is also survived by her sister Nancy Bane of Wimberley, TX.

Bennie was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, the Altar Society and Catholic Daughters of America. She retired from J. C. Penney's where she was a sales clerk.

A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mass will be 10:00 AM Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Rev. Casey Jarzombek officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.
