IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Adrian G
Soza
March 4, 1963 – April 21, 2023
Adrian G. Soza, 60, of Bay City, Texas, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023. He was born in Kingsville, Texas to Servando R. Soza, and Maria-Guadalupe Garcia Soza.
Adrian lived a simple life and raised his children to be strong-minded, yet kindhearted. Adrian spoke his mind and said it like it was but would go without to help someone that was down on their luck. Adrian began truck driving in his mid-twenties and traveled throughout south Texas delivering goods to consumers. In his spare time, you would find Adrian fishing or BBQing with family and friends. Adrian competed in local BBQ cooks offs with his son Justin and his daughters were never too far behind. When Adrian became a grandfather, it was one of the proudest days of his life. His grandchildren meant everything to him, and he supported them in every way that he could.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Servando and Maria-Guadalupe Soza; and nephews Georgie Marono and JohnPaul Garcia. He is survived by his son Justin, wife Paige, grandchildren Addison and Olivia Soza, daughter Lacy, husband Mike and grandson Emerson Morris, and daughter Lindsey, husband Carlos and grandchildren Penelope, Nata'Linh, and Carlos Jr. Maldonado. Brothers Sam, Rick, and Robert and sisters Nelda, Jo-Ann, Nora, Cindy, and Lori.
The family will receive friends and relatives for visitation at 1:00pm Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with a Rosary beginning at 1:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 2:00pm with Father Stephen Vacek officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, Texas. Pallbearers for Mr. Soza will be Mike Morris, Carlos Maldonado, David Rosas, Ray De Leon, Billy Yackel, Danny Ladig, Austin Soza, and Roberto Soza.
