Adolfo S. Altamira, Jr. passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014. Adolfo was born on May 14, 1939 in Jackson County to the late Adolfo Altamira and Julia Sanchez. He is survived by his children, Dolores Altamira and Jesse and Andrew Altamirac sisters, Angelina Flores, Pat Puentes, Pauline Flores and a brother, Joe Guevara. Preceded in death by his wife Aurelia. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 1, 2014 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Palacios with Fr. Bryan Heyer celebrant. Rite of committal will follow at Palacios Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8P.M. Sunday at the Palacios Funeral Home with a Rosary service at 6:30P.M
