Addie Lee Johnson, 85, of Matagorda, passed away Monday, May 15, 2006 in Houston, TX. She was born August 26, 1920 in Matagorda, TX to Edward Joseph Nini and Lela Baxter Nini. She was a life long resident of Matagorda, a member of Matagorda United Methodist Church, a member and past president of the VFW Post 4459 Ladies Auxiliary of Matagorda, and a life member of Fraternal Order of Eagles # 3232 of Bay City.

She is survived by a daughter: Jerry Murphy of Selkirk; and a brother: Wallace Nini of Bay City. She was preceded in death by her husband: Albert "Johnny" Johnson and her parents; Edward Joseph & Lela Nini.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 19, 2006 at the Matagorda United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Servis officiating.
