Obituary
A. N. "Sandy" Sandusky, 96, formerly of Bay City passed away October 15, 2017. He was born April 6, 1921 in Rio Vista, Texas to the late Alonzo Newton Sandusky, Sr. and Susie Menefee.
He graduated from Palacios High School and served in the US Navy during WWII. He would be remembered in this area as a grocer and ice man.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Sandusky and a son-in-law Charles Fox.
Survivors include daughters Margaret Fox of Pearland, Kathryn Barnet of Spring and Pat Esslinger & husband Warren Campbell of Houston; son Dr. George Sandusky & wife Mary Ann of Cedar Hill, TX; 9 grandchildren and a host of great and great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and relatives from Noon until 2:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Private interment services will follow.
