Lynda London Carroll

Lynda Jane London Carroll. 66, of Bay City, Texas passed away peacefully on July 7, 2012. Lynda was born on January 5, 1946, in Bonham, Texas to Jones Reagan London and Roma Estelle Jackson London.

Survivors include her husband, Howard (Skipper) Carroll of Bay City; her daughter Mandy Coker and her husband Dave of Houston, Texas, her son Reagan Carroll and his wife Yorinda and daughter Amanda of The Woodlands, Texas and her son Ronnie Carroll and wife Natalie and their son Jeffrey of Bay City, Texas. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Anna Lou Slovacek of Greenville, Texas, Wanda Beane of Austin, Texas and Sue Smith of Lubbock, Texas. She is also survived by many wonderful and loving nieces and nephews.

Lynda was a loving wife for 49 years to Skipper and a wonderful mother not only to Mandy, Reagan and Ronnie, but even to those whom she loved as family. She was a mother to a lot of people. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting and many other numerous crafts. You could always hear her say, “I can do that!” She enjoyed spending time with her grand daughter Amanda and her grandson Jeffrey. Lynda spent a lot of time helping out with Little League and Babe Ruth baseball. She loved to watch The Astros anytime they were on TV. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her and knew her. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Terrel Alridge officiating. Pallbearers will be: Dave Coker, Allen Thornton, David Thornton, David McIntosh, Joey Baros, Jason Sanders, and Dean Libby. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City.
